Overview
This page allows you to view all the students marked “absent (unexplained)”.
By default this page shows the current date/Viewing Date.
Fields, Boxes, and Buttons (oh my!)
Go Button: Click this button to refresh the list, or to submit changes to date and/or additional option checkboxes.
Date Dropdown Menu: Select the date you would like to review and hit “Go!”
Day Student Only checkbox: Select this checkbox and hit “Go!” to filter out non-day-students.
Show All Periods checkbox: Select this checkbox and hit “Go!” to include non-Ministry courses (e.g. homeroom).
By default only MOE courses are displayed.
Send Emails button/checkboxes: These options appear if your search uncovers any unexplained absences. Check the absences for students you wish to contact and click Send Emails to inform them of their unexplained absences (including courses, dates, and times). By default all the absences without explanation are automatically checked.
Note - students will only receive one email listing all absences by subject.
