This page allows you to enter details of an upcoming absence, to see your teacher covers and to volunteer for cover during busy times.

Today

This section will show you whether you have indicated you will be absent today, what covers may have been assigned to you today, and also provide you the opportunity to volunteer to be available teacher cover at particular times. If you volunteer, the teacher cover administrator will be able to see this when they assign cover.

Future

This section will show all future absences that you have input, all future covers of your classes once they have been assigned, and any future covers that have been assigned to you.

Report an Absence

When adding an absence, ensure that the times of the absence are also correct. The default start and end times are midnight; if you are only away for part of a day please make sure that you have selected the correct times.

• Fill in the Report an Absence section: choose a start date and time, an end date and time, and a reason for the absence.
• Press the Add Absence button. You should see a green Success message.
• If you want to check that it was recorded, look at the Future tab.
• The Cover Administrator will assign teachers to any required cover.
