This page is the starting point for generating cumulative marks for rotating courses. It lists those subjects for which the number of rotations value is greater than 1.
To create cumulative marks, first create a new course within the subject. Click on the edit subject link in the first column. The cumulative course must be set to have_reports, is_cumulative_only, but not fuzzy. The teacher and timetable block sections of edit course are irrelevant.
The cumulative course you have just created will now show up in list_rotating_subjects. You need to populate the course with all of the students. Clicking on the course name will take you back to edit course, from where you can proceed to the registrations page.
Back at list_rotating_subjects, the next column Enter marks / create marks records will give you access to reports data entry. Click on the correct mark_collection_period name to create report and mark records for the cumulative course in the particular mark_collection_period. Beware: if you accidentally create report records for a mark_collection_period that does not need them, it is very difficult to get rid of the extra data, and it will show on the reports (since it does not need to fulfil the 10 character rule). Once you have been to the marks page, you can go back to list_rotating_subjects.
Finally, click on Create/edit cumulative rotation marks for the relevant mark_collection_period. This will take you to the page edit rotating courses to generate and amend the cumulative marks.
